Now I'm confused... But thank you for your purchase.

My mother was a Pyke. Her Mother's family were Ailors. She moved to Andersonville as a child. She was born in 1946.

Ha JD Caldwell. I work with him. I know some Ailors from SC. My Grandmother was a Stooksbury from SC and some of them moved to Andersonville I'm assuming when TVA flooded Norris.

JD is a pretty good guy. LOL

I don't know much of the history for her family other than they are Ailors that live in or near Sharps Chapel. She had some research she was doing on them before she got sick. I haven't done any digging yet as I don't want to upset my father going over her stuff.

Making a little progress. This is how she sits after a week or so of cleaning and degreasing. The pile of dirt on the floor is what has been removed after the first degreasing and power washing. 60 years worth of dirt and grease is hard to get off. Changed the oil in it today and set the left hand wheel and tire back in to match the other side. Also ordered about $400 worth of parts for it today. New wiring harness, belts, hoses, battery cables and such. Moving right along. There was quiet a bit of factory red paint under all that dirt. LOL

New belts and hoses along with fresh coolant.

New starter switch, battery cables, ignition switch, and complete wiring harness.

Starter and generator pulled to be rebuilt.

Been busy on the M. Got some parts in and have started installing them along with more cleaning and maintenance. My plans are to work on repairing all of the mechanical problems and getting it cleaned up over the winter and sometime next spring I will break it down to paint. So far I have changed oil and filter, major tune up including ignition and adjust valves, repaired loose steering shaft, changed all belts, hoses and coolant, replaced wiring harness complete, all battery cables, ignition switch, starter switch and voltage regulator. Planning on having generator and starter rebuilt. This tractor had been converted to 12 V ignition but will be returned to original 6V. A little at a time. Lol

Loves me some old tractors! I've got a 63 601 workmaster that belonged to my grandfather. Still a working farm tractor.
