Ok guys, what do y'all recommend for an affordable and acceptable muzzleloader scope?
I'm leaning towards a fixed 4X as where I hunt, a long shot just isn't going to happen, but am open to any suggestions.

Nikon Prostaff, Buckmasters or a Minox ZA-3 if you can find one of the demo models.

I don't own one, but I think a 4x with quality glass would be a very good scope for a MZ.

How far you plan on shooting? That may, or may not, save you some money initially.

Sub $150.00, hoping to get something decent for $100.00. I would be in the market for a good piece of glass, but a LOT of my gear was stolen this year and having to replace several basic necessities is already straining the budget.

I'm not hunting any open areas. All of my spots are in heavy cover. 75 yards will be a long shot.

sub 150 i would say Redfield would be your best bet, you should be able to find one in that range on a x36 or maybe even a x40
lifetime warranty and good customer service.

Checkout Bushnell scopes. I bought 2 Bushnell Banner's a few years ago for $100 each. Have yet to have any issues. I compared Redfield and others in that same price range and Bushnell won hands down, not only in clarity and brightness, but also overall quality. But thats jmo. Every eye is different. Btw- go to opticsplanet.com. Their prices are unbeatable.

I was right in the same range, distance and price, went with a Burris Fullfield II, 2x-7x. Bought it off Amazon for $140, I've only used it for getting my muzzleloader sighted in but so far I love it. I can only compare it to a prostaff but I'd take the Burris so far.

I really love my Burris scopes. I like the original Fullfield myself.

I have a Banner on mine and I don't recommend it. Eye relief is too short for a hard-kicking ML. I have a Leupold VXI 2-7X33 on a 243 and a couple Burris FFII 2-7 and 3-9, and I'd take any of those three over the Banner by far. Burris is my favorite.
Redhead (Bass Pro) has several scopes identical to Bushnell models for considerably less.
I'd check out what FDXX75 has first; used scope from a trusted TNDeer guy is always worth checking out.
