I hunted at a place in Alabama that had a "smokehouse" made out of an old refrigerator a Webber Grill and about 20 feet or so of Dryer vent hose. You could easily smoke 50 pounds of meat in it at once. I have thought about recreating one...but the idea of having an old refrigerator on my back porch isn't very appealing.

There was a "Good Eats" episode dedicated to making a cold smoker. It looked incredible. Smoked cheese, smoke cured bacon, cured sausages.....
