Man what a weekends hunting with some good fellas. Friday morning PMC layed down 2 does dressed 75 and 85 friday eve I busted the big deer for the trip this ole girl field dressed 90 Meanwhile ole TX300mag spent his time with the turkeys no not me and pat but he did manage to kill a yote sat morning
a great time of food and fellowship and hunting
i also want to thank Jon's wife for dinner last night it was great and the oreo stuff rocked
rem 700 cdl stainless fluted in SPS stock 7/08 160 gn accubond over IMR 4064 39.7 grains approx 2700-2800 fps (havent had time to run it thru the chrony) 70 yds neck shot dropped in tracks dressed 90

remember it survived being locked up with all them M70's and it still shoots
I was thinking about that time last year when you tried to use that rifle as a real mater stake when you had the rifle slung over your shoulder and slipped and fell forward plugging the barrel about 5 inches into the dirt. That was one the craziest days of hunting I've ever had. I don't think anything will top that day for a long time.
No telling what those M70's did to it when in the safe.
