anyone shoot cabelas scopes? or have any input on them? was diggin around on their sight and found one of their MZ scopes on clearance for $40 (150 reg price) its the 4-14x40 powderhorn ext. I figure 40 bucks for a $150 scope it couldnt hurt to test one out

I heard the Alaskan Guide Series was made in Japan. I thought about it, but I haven't tried them yet.

I got my CVA wolf with the scope package from cabalas. Its the 3-10x40 powderhorn and I really like it for the price you can't beat it. Had it 4 years now and ain't let me down yet

I had a Cabelas Pine Ridge 2-7 that was a total POS. It cost me one of the tallest racked bucks I have ever seen. After I missed the shot I went to the range to verify. The gun word shift impact from the top of the target page to the very bottom of the page. That's about a 2 foot shift fom shot to shot.

Cabela's glass whether scopes or binos is junk. Their warranty is the worst in the business. 1 year. If you have had their optics for any length of time and it hasn't fogged inside you are rare and lucky.
