Take deep breaths and relax..... Fishing is supposed to be fun.
That's what I was repeating to myself before I even backed out of the garage. I was headed to the Park to do some fishing today and I knew what traffic was going to be like with all the "leaf peepers" out in full swing. Well, I made it there and back with a minimal bump in my blood pressure.
Peace...
Solitude....
I even got a few fish to cooperate.
My monster brown for the day. I'm starting to think I burnt up all my luck at catching big browns this year back in February.
As you can see, the fly of the day was a size 16 pheasant tail.
Gobble gobble (this is not a pheasant)
There was a point in time, where I wouldn't have wanted to be sitting on this bench.
