Any recommendations on an offline GPS app for iphone? I don't have data on the phone but would really like a good gps app for it.

You can use Google maps and wifi to cache a certain area, downloads that map so you don't need data to load the maps. That is if you can get Google maps on the I phone !!

I have google maps for the phone, but it requires wifi or internet access. The land I'm hunting is REALLY thick and being able to mark trails, rubs, etc. on the map would be great, but I'd have to be connected to the net in some way in order to mark these locations on google maps.

You shouldn't have to. You need to search and find out how to cache the map. I used wifi at the hotel while predator hunting lbl earlier this year. That's how I used my maps without service. Marked all the spots I got coyote to howl at night without hardly any service
