What will kill them? I cut some down, drilled holes in the stump and filled them with GLY4 back in the summer. Shoots are 3 feet tall on the stumps. Any ideas?

I have heard that Imazapyr will kill any hard wood anywhere close to where it is sprayed. So if you want to kill off a broad area it may work for you.

Yeah, it will take more than Glyphosate.

You know you could just cut a ring completely around the tree, maybe an inch or so deep. That will kill it and you need not spray a thing.

That does not work with Bodock! It will sprout from below the ring and the sprouts will be 15 feet tall in 2 years!

Try painting the stump with straight Tordon next time. I can't vouch for how it will do on the osage, but I've yet to see anything else come back from it.
