I'm tellin' ya - gotta try the etoufee, with the gumbo a close second.
The poboys are good, but they have too much bread. I tried the gator tail poboy once, and I felt like I was eating a whole loaf of bread with it.
As far as sides go, I usually get sweet potato fries or okra, but they have other good choices, too. Never get the plantains - they are lame.

It was OK.....again, more "Rice w/ red bean sauce" than what I had intended.

The gumbo was really good at the Deja Vu location at Mt. Moriah and Winchester but it has since shuttered.
I cannot catch the other one open. Been by twice within the posted operating hours and both times they were closed.

I didn't realize they were closed on Mondays until I showed up then once. I've never had problems on other days of the week, though.
