I seen where you just got your savage. Have you done any shooting yet? Ive found a couple loads that work so if you want to try a few 300 or 250 gr
Ftx let me know and ill bring a few friday. Ive also got some 300 gr. Xtp and 300 gr. 458 hollow points ordered that should be in tomorrow. Just throwing that out there before you spend alot of money.

I was shooting 300 gr. I bought some 250 gr from Cecil but haven't tried them

After snoopin around barnes' site, looks like he was shooting barnes originals in 300 gr. Luke pushes that round quite a bit so I may end up going with them if theyll group.

The Barnes Originals group great in my Savage with Vihtavuori N120. I've owned it a year and it still amazes me every time I shoot it.

You using the orange MMP sabot with them? What's your group size at 100 yrds?
