WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - Applications for U.S. unemployment benefits jumped 46,000 to a seasonally adjusted 388,000 in the week of Oct. 7-13, the Labor Department said Thursday, erasing the sharp drop from the prior week. Claims had fallen two weeks ago to a four-year low, but the decline mainly stemmed from a statistical quirk in the data that often happens at the end of a quarter and it was not reflective of a rapidly improving labor market.

Yea,

She also said Obama has never blamed Bush.

First lady Michelle Obama said Wednesday that President Obama did not look to blame others for the challenges he faced as president, an apparent rebuke to Republican accusations that the White House continues to point the finger at President George W. Bush for the lagging economy.

"See, but your president, he didn't point fingers," Mrs. Obama said, at a campaign fundraiser in New York. "He didn't place blame. Instead, he got to work, because he was thinking about folks like my dad and like his grandmother. See, and that's why he cut taxes for small businesses and for working families because he believes that in America, teachers and firefighters should not pay higher tax rates than millionaires and billionaires."

Obama NEVER gave a "tax cut" to anybody.

He gave them a "Social Security Payment Cut". He did say that your SS checks will NOT go down when you retire years from now. So think of this, say you've put money in the saving account every month like clock work then one year you only put in half as much, do you think the money you have in it would be the same or less later??? Talk about suckers.

Guess what?? They REVISTED last weeks numbers and it's a "little" more than they said, last weeks numbers just went up another 38,000 new jobs but that's ok that we don't use the new last weeks numbers because when the real numbers of this week and next week come out it looks like it's really climbing. That's what happens when you leave real numbers out and later bring them back in.
