I bought one back in the late 80s, only thing wrong was a small "S" shaped spring inside of it broke, other than that it was a good little gun.
I also had a Thopson center hawkens that I never could get to shoot, it was all over the place no matter what bullet or powder combo I tried, but my traditions hawkens shot great, even with round balls you coule stack'em in ther.
