hunting license question

Does my wife need to have a hunting license if I go hunting and she goes with me? She doesn't bow hunt and would not have a weapon but she would like to go to possibly see deer. I would be hunting tva property and Cherokee National Forest.

If she assists in any way (not including helping you drag one out) she needs a license. If she doesn't assist, she doesn't need one to accompany you on a nonquota or private land hunt.
