Blackhorn 209 and Hornady SST 300gr

Anybody got any experience with this. I have been using Blackhorn with Barnes 250gr, and bought these to try. Using them in a TC Omega. Really want to know of others results on paper but mostly on deer. I have not been impressed with the Barnes.

If you are not impressed with the Barnes, the SST is not going to make you feel good. I can't get them to expand worth a hoot at BH209 speeds. They work well pushed to medium smokeless speeds.
What may I ask was the issue with the Barnes that you didn't like? They expand at a wide range of speeds for me, and retain almost all of their weight. The wound channel in the deer I've taken is simply destructive.

i have killed 20 plus deer with the 300 sst from 1700 fps to 2365 fps
all performed great
i have pushed the 250 sst to 2600 +
also shot a 205 lb buck with one 2300 fps it rocked his world but he took it like a man and stumbled 20 yds maybe
im not a big fan of expansion heck they are already 452 in diameter i prefer a pass through every sst i have shot has passed thru so i have no idea how well the expand

i use 250sst they work for me . they pass throu and put them down quick
