Biden's comment about "leveling the playing field " was just a rephrasing of wealth redistribution - gotta pander to the 47%!
Biden didn't fail to mention making the rich pay their fair share... I'm so tired of that line!

To me laughting and smiling once in a while is ok but doing it 90% of the time Ryan was talking was being smug. It shows and was over done. in other words Biden was showing everybody that everything Ryan was saying was a lie, EVERYTHING.

I think the debate was...okay. Yes, Biden confirmed what most everyone already knows about him, but it appeared to me that he talked down to a level that "normal" people could understand—if he wouldn't have done all the smirking, laughing, smugging, etc..., he would would have done much better. Ryan, did a decent job, and certainly didn't lose any ground, but his main problem was/is his intelligence—he talked over the heads of a large segment of the electorate. Being an Economist myself, and a numbers guy, I for one appreciate the getting deep into the details from various angles. I'm just not sure that alot of people appreciated it, and I'm certain alot cannot/won't understand it—look at how Obama got elected for that proof. Ryan would've been better if just brought it down and simplified his message just a little more—and certainly would've done better if he would have put a freaking stop to the Obama-slobbering moderator.
