Yep, would not want to offend his Mom. When you folks see me, you will be able to tell that I have put away a few fried apple pies in my time. \:D

I just thought of a serious question. Do you plan to put the decking boards against each other or intend to space them say 1/4 to 1/2 inch apart? If you intend to space them, let me know and I will cut some plywood spacers to bring down.

We will not be spacing them. The gaps would be too large. The wood will dry and give space enough.

Just for the record.....I will probably be the smallest one there, but I will definitely be able to eat my fair share plus some. I love real homemade apple pies! Tell your mom thanks in advance!!!!!!

If you get a chance, find out from Curtis where he put the lag bolts and washers and anchors and the deck screws if they are not with the other materials.

I will be there at 8:00 to get started, I should be starting the framing no later than 8:30.
