I was contacted by a gentlemen who is looking for a place to take his paraplegic brother deer hunting. He specifically asked for an opportunity in Reg 3 or 4.
I need help with this one since I live so far away. Does anyone have any ideas? Keep in mind that this will require easy terrain. Thanks.

The wheelchair-bound hunt on Cordell Hull WMA is usually the first weekend in November.

Im not fluent much about paraplegic but is a short boat ride too much for him? I have some spots on the hiwaissee river he could either sit and shoot from the boat or sit and shoot from the bank. I think AEDC randomly thru the season will have first come first serve hunts in their safety zone. It used to be wheelchair bound only. Check on that.

I asked the same thing last year, I had a dying father confined to a wheelchair who had a request to see his teenage son shoot a deer. I asked for some help and got the same kind of answers from folks. The Father finally lost his fight with cancer this year I'm working hard to help the son with bowhunting. On this site you'll be really dissapointed if you think most people will really care enough to have you on their land. No real help just take them to some public land areas. I would be glad to take him to any of my best areas if he wants or needs some assistance. I have areas to hunt in Region 3 and Reg. 4. PM me if I can help.

Im sorry I couldnt help u last yr but I wasnt on here. I wouldve if I was. I just want to figure out how fragile a paraplegic is before I figure out which farm would accomodate him. Im not to familar with the condition. If I can ever be any help to anyone I am willing. I was always taught to treat others the way you would want to be treated. Have a good weekend Harold.
