I have hardly ever heard anything but positive press on the Slick Tricks. I have owned some for 3-4 years, and just assembled them last night. I may or may not use them this year, but have been seriously considering it. Take a look at the numerous reviews on Cabela's website, as they get pretty good accolades from most. http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/search.cm...ch-All+Products

I've also used them for years, the std 100 grain ones. I opened a new pack recently and they weren't as sharp as usual...I posted a thread yesterday on broadhead sharpeners as a result.

I have used them for the past several years on numerous kills. I shoot the 100 grain standards. They shoot great for me and penetrate great. I wont use anything else either.

I have not shot Slick Tricks, but some hunting bud's of mine shoot them. Very true flight, good penetration, and good blood trails. Actually saw a quartering shot take down an elk (it ran about 100 yards).
If I was to shoot a fixed broadhead, it would most likely be the Slick Trick; mostly because of their accuracy and close comparison to field point flight.

Yes. And they are my #1 pick for a fixed blade broadhead. I've shot the standard and mags...killed deer with both. Both leave awesome blood trails and blades have never been chipped, bent, or anything. I like the mags for a little bigger hole but one things for sure...as much as I like playing with broadheads, I don't go anywhere without at least one Slick Trick in my quiver.

I been shooting the 100gr standard but shot 2 deer last weekend and had to shoot 1 twice. I was a lil concerned over the size of the wound channel. I thought since I need to re-order I might get the 100gr. Mags. How will they fly compared to the standard? What say ye?

I like the Magnums better , because of the increased cutting diameter .

Was shooting the Magnum yesterday out to 40 yards and there was maybe an inch deviation. At 50 yards the wind yesterday was taking it off course 3-4 inches.

They are what I use. Shot deer with it yesterday. See related post.
Buddy says I need to drop them and get something else. All the reviews seem good, and everyone I've ever talked to really like them.

Its looking more and more like I put it directly onto the shoulder blade and didnt get penetration.
IMO regardless of what type of broad head, hitting bone is going to stop it.

Are they hard to tune? I shoot rage but really like fix blades. I cant find a fixed blade that isnt a bear to get to fly straight.

They are the best fixed bladed head for arrow flight that I have shot. They shoot so close to my field points that I don't have to tune or change my sights.

Same here, almost no difference from field point to Slick Trick. My bow is tuned well though.

Another vote for 125 magnums. I have now killed 3 deer with these. Two I shot through at least one leg bone. The tip is as sharp as brand new. No blade loss or movement. Spins great. Flies great. Shoots great. I never thought I would use anything but a Thunderhead 125 until I tried Slick Tricks.
I am using Gold Tip carbons with 40 extra grain adders to the front end to improve FOC.

If your having that much problems getting fixed blades to fly right then something isn't tuned correctly—either the bow itself, or a problem with the arrow.

Had to switch to a fixed blade a few years ago for regulations on a Western hunt....100 g regular, magnums, now the Grizz trick 100 g - all will do a number on the front half of a deer. The Grizz Tricks punched through two shoulder blades of a doe last weekend and she didn't go 50 yards. Excellent product. Wish I had a local retailer here

Great performing BH. Very tough and very sharp. I have killed several and have never had a blade to break or ferrule to bend. I dont think they get any more durable. Last year I tried Ramcats to go along side ST. I honestly can't say enough about the devastation the RCs do to a deer. Not just the hole but the cavity. They also have offset blades which help in rotation spin along with my right helical feathers. My bow is tuned but as much as they spin they should stabilize very fast from a launched not so straight arrow.

So many good fixed blades out there, many of them fly VERY well. That being said, I shoot Sliock Trick 125g Magnums and have zero complaints. Many deer have complained though....
