my first hunt was in fentress county deer, coon,squirrel and rabbit for all my life i never remember not hunting i have hunted in many states and canada but nothing compares to hunting at home most all the people i grew up hunting with are gone now but the memories will be with me for all of my life i have 2 sons now and rarly take a gun anymore but take them all the time and they kill or miss the animals now

first deer hunt was probably around mid 70's up on property we used to own in hebbertsburg.
It's best to just let him finish.

Lewis county in 1966. I saw two does and I freaked out! Back then just seeing some tracks made the day and if you killed a buck (buck only back then) you were a local celebrity no matter how large the antlers were.

Squirrel was my first hunt, with many more to follow through my early teen years. This was in Jefferson County near the Bush Bean Plant.

My first deer hunt was on the 5th day of Muzzleloader (it was buck only) and on private property in Jefferson Co. 4 does crossed a saddle (I had no idea what a saddle was then) and I searched and searched, trying to visualize antlers on one of their heads. \:\)

I remember it well. I have been hooked ever since.
