I have a pre printed 2012-2013 permanent kill tag with all the info still blank that I carry in my backpack. Can I walk up to my dead deer in the field and pull out my smartphone and check in the deer online, get the transaction number and fill out the permanent kill tag there without filling out the temporary kill tag?

The regulations require you to invalidate a temporary kill tag.

So what ur saying is, fill out the temporary tag. Check it in over the phone. Take your pre prented permanent tag, fill it out with the transaction number by hand. Then we will be legal right ? If this is right, we will still have to print a new temp tag. Is that correct.
