...and I believe they are most certainly dangerous. I've heard of several injuries resulting from these type devices.

Jail would be the safest place for me when my father found out about something like this.
AMEN—I would pray to be put in jail as quick as possible!

When someone makes an unregistered explosive device the authorities dont neccesarily just look at how powerful it is when deciding what charge to levy. Since terrorism has reared its head in the past few years you will find that ANYONE making any type of explosive is going to face more serious consequences than they probably would have years ago. The bottom line is that there are lots of things in this world to play with that dont explode. If a person chooses to do something illegal like making bombs they need to realize that there are consequences to those choices. Dont do the crime if you cant do the time...
Very good post.
Just because it isn't a bomb in the traditional sense doesn't make it non-dangerous. Add 1000X the acid & water and put it in an Olympic sized swimming pool "bottle" see how dangerous it is. "Explosive laws" have to be all encompassing. Leniency or dismissal of charges takes place in a courtroom.
As crazy and dumb kids we used to make bombs all the time, our biggest took down a full grown Pecan tree. However, it IS a new world post 9/11. If I found my kid doing it, he would have heck to pay.

...and I believe they are most certainly dangerous. I've heard of several injuries resulting from these type devices. Put one in a pumpkin sometime and you will see they are dangerous. Dry ice works better than that cleaning stuff though.

I live in Polk Place and the older kid has been in trouble several times. This prank caused one of our neighbor to lose his sight for several months and just recently his eye sight is beginning to come back.
The parents of this little angel defends this little prick and according to the parents he never does anything wrong. It's always the other person.
