TWRA used to offer internships to college students pursuing an education in related fields. Why do they not offer these anymore?
My guess is that they come down to funding, but where will the next generation of Officers, Biologists, and Managers come from if the new graduates don't have any experience?

Tony and wayers......did your school have a wildlife society? If so did you work on the projects they did? While they may not have been paid internships, there are a lot of opportunities to gain experience and work with members of the agency on different projects.

Wayers, I am currently getting certified to teach Hunters Safety Course/education. Contact your TWRA region about it, its a great way to get your foot in the door and get to know your local game wardens who in turn, can possiably help you in the future
