I am looking to buy a new coat and bibs for deer hunting. I would like something that would be warm but as light weight as possible. Would also prefer it be waterproof. I am willing to spend up to $500 for the set. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Check out Cabelas MT050 stuff. I swear buy it. I hunt hard and all season long almost every day and I don't get wet or cold. I'm on my first set of them but still wear my first set (Cabelas saddlecloth) as well. I've been wearing them for the last 12 years and still no complaints. Pricey but worth every penny.

No question what-so-ever, the MT050 Parka and Bibs are the warmest outer clothing sold. Worth every penny.

Has anybody tried the kryptek?
I have some kryptek gear and its absolutely awesome! It is high quality stuff! I do not have the cold gear. I have the rain gear and light weight stuff but have heard great things about the cold gear. I also use core4element clothing and have fallen in love with their lines as-well. You can check it out at core4element.com and camofire.com sales their stuff. I have not tried the cabelas MT050 gear but hear its great as-well.

Thanks for the info. I am going to check out the MT050. I haven't looked at it yet. I was kinda leaning towards the kryptek.
