I had a 6 pt feding at 61 yds. Way too far for my crossbow and me. Watched him for about 10 minutes. Then a coyote stepped out of the woods. Instantly the deer did a 180 and went back into the woods. And just to make it even more frustrating, the coyote came up by me broadside and stopped and I missed! him.
He did really take off but that coyote deserved getting shot.Oh
well, at least I didn't miss the deer Saturday afternoon.
But now, I have a grudge against coyotes.

Ray. I hate you missed the yote and the deer run off but i have got to ask this question. After the buck ran off did you say any bad words under your breath that you should not say on here. LOL

I was not holding the coyote in high regard and did have a few words that cannot be mentioned in mixed company. If words could kill, I wouldn't have needed to shoot. Ray
