None yet but I usually find a bunch of scrapes before I find many fresh rubs.

Ones like these stop me in my tracks every time I see one. Found this one and another almost this big on our lease.

Got an old woods road that is usually torn up. Not a sign this year but I'm seeing the bucks so doesn't matter.
Saw a few rubs early, nothing since then. haven't seen a scrape on any of my properties. I reckon they are too busy eating.

Been seeing quite a bit of scraping activity since the last week of September. This is about a week or two earlier than normal. Put cameras over scrapes a week or so ago and got some bucks using the scrapes, and some just walking by ignoring them.

I wouldn't look any further than the cooler weather being the culprit. Its much cooler this year at this time than most years. Everything in my notes from previous years runs parallel to this cool weather. They are simply antsy and are able to do more movement and not get over-heated, like they have had the past 6 months.

A combination of acorn production and cooler weather. In October, it is not at all uncommon for bucks to produce a flurry of scraping every time we get a cold snap. In fact, that's why I always say that the weather is the third most powerful influence on deer activity, right behind hunting pressure and the rut.
