Yes, Great News. All those folks in white are smiling, I just know it.

I am wondering just how many of us have had our own faith renewed or strengthened by Matthew and his Family? My own hand is raised and I give thanks to our All Mighty Lord for what he has done and continues to do.

Jimmy he's doing pretty good. He had 3 tests yesterday, 2 of which were on the computer - made a B on those. The 3rd was a written so he wont know what he scored there for a day or 2. I'm SO proud of this young man!

His sick spells appear to be a little better and following the last visit with his brain surgeon we're all convinced this has to do with the fluid that has moved into the area where brain matter once was creating a slight early morning equilbriam situation or a severe morning vertigo type deal. Knowing its probably not infection and/or seizures is making him more apt to just work through it when it happens.

God has truly been at work with Matthew for sure!

Sure hope Jason is doing better...

As many prayers as were lifted thru this thread I sure owe an update \:\)

Matthew is still in college, struggling but making it. Taking multiple anti-seizure meds makes reading/comprehension TOUGH so while he's doing fine in some classes he really struggles in others. He is SO determined!! He is studying at night and on the weekends!! SO very proud of him, regardless! He's talking about transferring to Tech School and my response was, do what makes you happy and will lead to you feeling you are achieving your goals \:\)

He's not had a single full-blown seizure in whats now right at 10 full months!! Praising God for that!!!!
He did have a little spell last night that was once the "aura" that preceeded a seizure, which he seems to have about once a month now. It "may" be that this is a mild seizure of sorts but since the right temporal lobe is gone the seizure doesnt turn into the full-blown episodes - BUT the only person that really knows is the good Lord himself. Dr's arent sure and we sure arent. Either way, if its a seizure and thats as bad as it gets he can handle that versus what he had before because its basically just a sick/dizzy spell where he stays totally concious and alert for a minute or two. Just doesnt feel good to move during that time - leads to getting sick if he does most often.

He's having some pretty serious back issues - his back was broken in the wreck as well 4 1/2 yrs ago and from time to time he's been so inactive for a year that his back will really fire up on him and it's bad this last week and today.

Praising God for his progress for sure and thanks to ALL OF YOU for lifting him up in prayer!!

What a magnificent group of folks on TnDeer!!!
