Ok I have 2 question. I am waiting on my house that I am purchasing in Mississippi to get all the legal mumbo jumbo done so that we can finish with the closing process. The first question I have is if I move to Mississippi, how long of a grace period do I have before I have to buy an out of state TN licence. I would hate to have to purchase one for like a month and then have to get a new one in March. Second question is how much does an out of state Sportsmans licence cost in Tennessee? Thanks for any and all information.

I am not a twra but if you search I have seen them answer some sim questions. I will tell you if you get a lifetime sportsman lisc now while you are a TN resident you are able to hunt a life time here. SCN answered that a while back. and I am sure he will answer the other part of your question. I know if i was looking at moving anyplace close I would buy a lifetime before. I wish SD would have had lifetime lisc I would get one of them in a heartbeat.

All of our annual licenses expire at the end of Feb.
Your current resident licenses will be honored through the end of the license year.
The nonresident license options are found in the first few pages of the HG.

thank you again SCN for answering my questions. I always appreciate your help.
Once you get the lifetime license, do you have to buy any of the permits yearly?

If you get the Lifetime license you are covered for all TWRA licenses and permits.
