I just traded for this Mini 14 for my 10 year old to deer hunt with, but it's just too heavy for him to hold still. My goal is to get him in a light .243 or such bolt action rifle. This is a late model 580 series Mini 14 that has hardly been shot and I can't find a single mark on the stock. I have the factory 5 round mag and 2, 10 round Pro Mags that will go with it. The scope is a 4x12 Bushnell that I think is a Banner Multi-X, but I'm not certain. I have 14-15 rounds of Federal Fusion 62 grain that'll also go with it.
$550 for the who package
$500 without the scope (you will get the Ruger rings though)
Open to trade offers for a bolt action .243 or similar caliber. Will not ship. I'm in the Memphis area.

It is COOL to have, but it's all about the kids for me now days. One day, I'll collect the ones I want.

Trade offers expanded to 270, 7mm, or 30.06 now that I've learned about Managed Recoil loads.

Clarification that I meant 7mm mag.
I also found out that there is also a Reduced Recoil .308. Add that to the list of acceptable trades.

Taking 7mm mag off the list. It'll be too much even with Managed Recoil ammo. I didn't realize how BAD this round was.

"Thought" I had ya one earlier.. Came real close to trading for a mint 700 in 6mm! Sweeeeeeet caliber!
