Just updated my iPhone through iTunes on my comp. took an hour then got to the end and came up with some sort of error. So I had to do it again the second time took 90 min. The problem is now I have a message that says I have used all of my data per my plan for the month. I still have till the 25th. I didn't know an update would cost me data. Going to be an expensive bill I suppose. Just trying to let other technologically challenged people as my self know so you don't make the same mistake.

Research it a bit before you bite the "apple upgrade". I've had 3 people bring me their iPhone 4's and they had not done their research before upgrading to ios6 and have had issues.
It really helps to be on wifi while doing the upgrade.

If you did the update through your computer, why would your phone use any data?

i did mine just threw wi-fi and it was no where near that long and i havent had any issues..

I got the alert, when I tried to update my apps, that the iTunes agreement had changed. Pulled it up.
55 pages of information. Yeah, I read that.

I thought you had to be connected to wifi before you could do the update....
