I think I'm gonna go hunt hatchie this afternoon for the first time..does anyone have any advice on where to maybe set up. General direction obviously. Gonna be my first time in the bottoms and I'm really looking forward to if!
Is there a brochure I need similar to that of Chickasaw refuge?

Yeah, you need a signed copy of the brochure.
It's a tough place to hunt. Lots of deer, lots of food, lots of cover. Don't expect to see deer out in the open woods. Get next to a slough or something thick.

LOVED Hatchie! Was sitting in a perfect spot but my brother in law stuck one, hit it way way back, and with all the rain that started we didn't find it.
Going back tomorrow for sure, we saw a MASSIVE deer coming out.

You can definitely beat your head against the wall bowhunting there. There is just so much food and rediculously good cover that it's a tough game. When the water is higher, you can use that as funnels, but its so low this year that its not a factor.

Well one is close to hwy59 but not right by it and the other is 35-40 miles away and hwy76 runs right through the middle of it. it just may be me but it went over my head.
The one at 56, not lower I don't believe
