I have been wide open only 12 feet up a tree and had plenty in bow range. That isn't a very logical statement.

I think your definition of "real hunting" may slightly differ from mine. If you would take the time to scout you would see that oak trees are preferred over corn right now. You don't have to waste $40 that way.
no reason to trample and scent up my woods. i purchased this property, locked the gate and will let the corn roll till rifle or till 10 days of before rifle.

Awfully difficult to exceed expectations without proper scouting. Hoping they will come to where those corn piles are/were isn't very promising.

Awfully difficult to exceed expectations without proper scouting. Hoping they will come to where those corn piles are/were isn't very promising.
they are located on the edges of secluded food plots (oak, wheat, brassicas, turnip, clover) on the lincoln county line, in fields crawling with uneducated/unharrased does. I will take my chances

i think if he was a bowhunter, he wouldnt be a huge obvious ladder stand, at that low of a height
yep with a shooting rail. that is no bowhunter

So im not getting this story... You were squirrel hunting and came across this stand? Is this your property and someone has a stand on your property? Or are you hunting on someone elses property?
