"The VERY SAME MONTH the US population grew by 181,440 people."
I would say that this number is from those who were just born which would have no bearing either way on the amounts and percentages given when looking at those who could be employed.

Wrong on both counts!!!
I went to the US census Bureau, it counts all births, deaths, and imigrants both legal and illegal.
They can't ever keep up with population growth.
At the rate he's going it will take another 13 years to get it back down to 4.6% the day the democrats took control of Congress back on Jan 2007. This year is 2012, 13 years from now is 2025.
To get it back down to 4.6% by Christmas 2013, next year it will take close to 400,000 new jobs EVERY MONTH FOR THE NEXT 14 MONTHS.
You can sugercoat it all you want but 114,000 does NOT cut it.

Tony has trouble keeping up. He thinks infants are not people.
This report is another lie, intended to keep people in their jobs and you and I paying for it.
While it doesn't seem like a serious drop in most people's eyes, it's next to impossible for this to have happened in a month.
The political intent is to have it below 8%, as no incumbent president has been reelected when unemployment was above 8%.

You can't figure the percentages with those who can't hold a job. The calculations can't include those who can't work so when you mention that the population grew as compared to the unemployment rate you would be wrong to make any percentage adjustments using those who can't work.
BTW I wasn't wrong on both counts because you proved me right on at least one of them when you mentioned "all births" which is exactly what I had mentioned to begin with.

Sorry Duck but your wrong again.
You did NOT say that, you said "THOSE WHO WERE JUST BORN".
You were trying to say something totally different than what I posted.
Obama has a PROVEN RECORD that he cannot ever keep up with population growth, the MOST SIMPLIST GROWTH RATE of them all. At Obama's rate it will be 2025 before we get back to where we were, that's way too long.
Keep Obama another 4 years and it MIGHT get down to 6.9% by the election of 2016 IF we are allowed to have an election.

WC,
You are wrong. If we keep Obomma it will NOT ever get down to 6.9%. It will get much much worse. Look at the Socialist countries of Europe. Most all of them have perpetual unemployment in double digits.
Most of the small business people I have spoken with are running to the end of their rope. Most have burned through all their savings and lines of credit. They are holding on by their fingernails. They are praying that Romney gets in and immediately gives them some relief. Repeal Obommacare and cut taxes.
Otherwise they will fire their employees and close the doors.

The funny thing is when people always quote the unemployment rate and try to use that as what the job market is. First tony you are right the new births are not included in unemployment rates because they can not work. But you may not know or know and want to gloss over that the unemployment rate also lacks all the people who never had a job. Like the thousands of New graduates that can not find a job, both HS and Collage, it also don't include the people that were on it and have timed out I know this is a smaller number then before as the GOVT both rep and dems have extended this short term insurance to a long term insurance. ON OUR DIME. You also have people that are not working but do not qualify for unemployment. We wont even go into underemployment. But if this report surprises anyone that a new number below 8 was not going to come out then you should re-look at what your reality is.

Come to scott co. no jobs anywhere, my girl and I each drive over 60 miles one way to work each day. But you that "wont" work will be okay, cause those of us that will and want to work labor each and every day to make sure you get you beer, cigs and cable tv and free health care so you can sell your pills i just paid for. What we need is a few moe rednecks [not bigots] in DC. If you wont work, starve. If you cant work then call me when you need food or your kids need clothes. But you that are waiting on the great Obama to take even more of my money can kiss my &*$
