Just wondering which ammo would be best for this gun,its the770 rem. Currently using 180grain power-points,this will be the first year using this gun. Just want to see what ya'lls opinions are. Thanks!

never had a problem with a core loct 150gr out of a 300

I used the Federal Powershok in 7mm Mag. They dropped everything I shot with them. You can get them at the Dickson Walmart for $17.97 a box I believe. Same for the 7mm and 300 win mag. You can't beat them for the money. They come loaded with Speer bullets. 300mag are probably 180gr.

been using the 150g corelocks,low recoil & dead deer,plenty accurate for hunting too,180g not needed on tn deer most of the time lol

Some of the premeir bullets are pushing $60 a box.if I was elk hunting sure but deer are not that hard to kill with just about any centerfire.the smaller caliburs need premium but horsepower works also lol

I shot 180gr corelock and and never had a deer take a step. The enter and exit hole wasnt that bad unless the buller clips a limb and goes to tumbling then its one ugly hole
