I have seen them on Mt. Roosevelt also. However, your BEST bet is Probably Cherokee. I listened to one drum hislittle wings off Saturday morning up there. I guess he thought it was spring.

Good luck, Tons of hours in for a glimps if your lucky. Grouse are dang near extinct in Tn. I have friends with good dogs that hunt all yaer to kill 1 or 2 birds here. Go to Wisconsin and your on a bird every 15 minutes.
