I have tried the 140's Big Jim, but they still don't have the knock down like the 150's. I do give up a little on the down range ballistics however. But, most of my TN hunting is close range anyway. I do have my gun doped out to 600 yards just in case. \:\)


I haven't messed with reloading in my 270 yet, would you care to let me in on a pet load on your 270 and the 150 gr. Interlok


I use 53 gr of IMR 4831 Winchester brass and CCI primers. That produces 2791 fps from my browning abolt ss. The boss is set on 5.5. That set up should shoot sub moa groups pretty easily. Best of luck.

Thats great! Im trying to make 4831 my go to powder for my 270, 300 wsm, and 22-250 with heavy bullets
