Since nobody here seemed to want to buy my muzzleloader, I carried it to the gun show in Memphis this weekend, and traded (with a little $$) for this:
 http://www.ruger.com/products/1022DE/specSheets/1283.html
This thing is a blast to shoot. My son ran almost 1,000 rounds through it in one day ! He also had a bunch of "crap" for his airsoft guns, that fit on the picatinny rails (bi-pod, light, laser, etc)....

all it is is a ruger 10/22 with a tapco T6 stock on it.I had one just like it.Was a blast to shoot, but once the coolness wore off it sat in the safe for 2 years un touched.I sold mine last month..They are fun to shoot.

For a 14 year old boy, its all about the "coolness" factor. He really wants a .223 AR type.. But I don't think I could afford to keep enough shells for him to shoot up!
