Less than a month now and we will see the 2013 Mathews lineup. I'm considering going to a 65 lb limb single cam. My MR6 sure is a shooter though.
Any guesses on what they will do?

Everybody seems to be anticipating a new target bow from them.
I would like to see a bow from them 35-36 A-A with a 7ish inch brace height and around 3.8 - 4.2 lbs...340+ fps. A longer A-A Monster would be ideal for me but it would take a lot to move me from Elite as far as hunting bows go.

My guess is a shorter ATA Helium and a longer ATA Helium "Magnum". Probably the same as what they did with the Z series for 2011.
They might not have anything special enough for me to change from my Monster.

Any guesses on what they will do? Produce something I can't afford until 2015 when it's 3 years old.
Just wait til 1 - 2 weeks after they come out...the ArcheryTalk guys will have already got the string broken in and sell them for $200+ less than what they gave for it.

Im just not that impressed with mathews. With that being said....The helium was by far the one of the quitest and lightest bows that i picked up last year.

So basically you don't like Mathews but you liked the Helium?

Negative... i dont care for any of their new bows.
I was simply stating that the helium was a quiet and lightweight bow, both of which were not limiting factors in my decision to purchase a bow.

I would be surprised if they came out with a crossbow, but I certainly would not be shocked.

VERY debateable!
They have long held the top advertising campaign/hype but technologically speaking...they were "caught" and passed several years ago. Thus far, PSE has the top spot for new bows with their DNA bow. Too short for me. And I've yet to find a company with a warranty better than Elite...lifetime TRANSFERRABLEy warranty. Now that's sticking by your products. You don't see Mathews, Hoyt, or PSE offering that.

To me bow prices have gone plum crazy! A grand or better these days. Not saying I would suggest this for folks, but a good Excalibur can be had for 1/2 the price. Plus, bows have horrible resale. Firearms hold there value. Guess that's why my bow is soon to be 5 years old. I finally realized I was blowing crazy amounts of money for the "latest and greatest".

Not a Mathews fan boy but Mathews hold their value VERY well.
I have sold through Archery Den two Mathews on EBay and they sold used around $100 less than new. I would say that is pretty good resale value.
