I know you don't have to tag a deer, but have to have possession of the tag with you. Can you go a head, and feel the temp. tag out, go ahead and skin the deer, and quarter it up, and put it in a cooler on ice, and then check it out online when you get home ?

You have to have proof of the sex of the big game animal while transporting before checkin.
And, it has to be checked in that calendar day.
