Which barrel did you get, the 15" or the 20"? I have the 20" Katahdin barrel. Love it. It will shoot 200 grain Hornady FTX bullets 2800+ fps. The only thing I don't like about it is the noise. It is so freaking loud, and that is an understatement.

I have two from them bouth in 357Max one long and one short they do good work

24" pipe you should be pushing close to 3000 fps with 200 grain FTX ammo. That is nuts!
