Yes, and I've heard through the grapevine that it's just as good as the rest. I just hope they're cooking on site, rather than trucking stuff in from their other cookers.

This is another reminder that i need to go try out the Germantown Commissary. I keep hearing good things about it.
I work about 5 minutes from Interstate Barbecue, and I honestly don't think it's that great. They do a few things well, but I don't think their ribs (for example) are any better than lots of other places in town. Heck, the touristy spot on the corner of Beale Street - Blues City Cafe - has better ribs than Interstate.
Food arguments are fun, because they are all...quite literally...a matter of taste, and consequently "unwinnable" arguments.

I haven't been to Gtown Commissary in a while, mainly because I think their quality has fallen quite a bit in the past decade. I need to stop in very soon to give it a run, now that I'm more of the "reviewing" mind...

I never got around to it. My wife has some of the pics, so the big issue is consolidating those.

I like the Commissary, but must admit I usually order the half chicken rather than bbq or ribs. The sweet tater fries are pretty good also.
