I made these up twice this week after finding a pack or two left in the freezer. This is a game changer. Got to get me some does this year just for this recipe...

Ingredients:
Bacon
Backstraps
Franks RED HOT Sweet Chili sauce (as below)
Brown sugar

1. cut your backstraps up into good sized chunks. about the width of a slice of bacon works the best.
2. marinade the backstraps in Frank's and a good 1/2 - 3/4 cup of brown sugar for 1 hour.
3. Wrap a half a slice of bacon around a backstrap and insert wooden stick
4. Throw on grill
5. Enjoy

I first used a whole strip of bacon but then the backstraps got a little too done by the time the bacon was done, BUT by using a half of a strip of bacon the backstraps do not get over cooked.

I will try that, My family love the backstrap/tenderloins cooked with a slice of jalpeno and bacon wrapped, and YES you are right on spot with the half slice of bacon.

I just looked at the picture and it made my mouth water. I love regular franks. My 5 and 7 yr old boys eat it on everything. I got em hooked on hot sauce. Got to get some sweet chili and try it.

BTW Krogers has it, Food City in our area does not. Good luck!

I used this recipe this weekend with tenderloin at deer camp and it was a hit with the hunters. Thanks for the simple, yet effective marinade recipe.
