Wildgame cam issue

I got one last year. I set it up, took great pictures da and night. Took it out of the tree, placed it in my closet for the spring and summer. Took it back to the woods put it in the same place and this year the pics are terrible!!! Seems like the flas wasn't working or something. Is there a chance the bulbs on these things go out that easily and if so can I replace them???

Wild Game cams usually only last a year.
