Lumenok Bolts--not too sure about them

I bought three Lumenok bolts for my crossbow and was sighting in my scope with them. They were a little difficult for groupings until I realized the nock was moving around everytime I turned them off. This caused them not to be in the correct position in the bow. Does anyone else have this problem, and how do you make sure it is lined up properly?

I got some but have not had the issue you are speaking off.. I remember something in the instructions that said if they were loose to cut a paper shim out of the instruction phamplet to make sure they were tight inside the shaft

I don't have that problem, my problem is they are so tight that I have to use pliers to slide them out to turn them off. I wiggle them up and down to get them to slide them out to turn them off. I don't turn them when turning them off. One thing I did notice was, I hunted in the rain yesterday and my bolts got very wet and the water must have made the circuit and the lumenock was staying lit very dim. I would blow the water from the nock with my mouth and the light would go out but come back on after the water would gather around the wires. Not really a big issue if you keep an eye on it and dry them before you store them between hunts so it doesn't run the battery down.

Yep, I have to use pliers to turn them off also. Just wiggle a little bit back and forth, until I can fit a fingernail between the edge of the noc and the shaft.
The rain on Tuesday morning also drained one of mine.

I've never had any problems with them. They do what they say they'll do. It tells you in the instructions you may have to use pliers to turn them off.

I noticed no real change in accuracy after installing. They are slightly heavier than a normal nock, which may account for about a 1" drop at 30yds. But, that is really hard to calculate. For me, anyway.

I use them in both bows for years, no problems, love watching arrow flight.

i use nocturnals they according to many reviews are the best it is good to see that light to disappear in the side of a buck telling you where you hit. and the battery last for over 27 hours lite, for your grouping figure your arrows FOC front of center you may need a heavier head i shoot 100 grain grim reapers.
