I want to see all the spinning reel fans fish a 6XD all day with one. As far as baitcasters I've always owned Shimano - either Curados or Chronarchs but this year I bought 6 of the Lew's tournament pro reels. These are the absolute best reels I've ever used. This winter I'll be selling alot of Curado 200E's and replacing them with Lew's.

I haven't fished the Lews reels... I've had a couple of guys tell me they feel like a BPS reel. I can't say that would be bad since I bought a pro qualifier for deep cranking when they were out of the Revo winch and I love it. It's my first BPS reel. Everything else I have is Abu Garcia.

ha! Thats great! I will say newere reels are alot easier to controll! But even i still have one or two a year!

Ive been on lews reels prostaff for about a year now and wow! I let all my shimanos and abu garcias go. Not that there bad reels. But i do believe these lews are better!

its better to spend a 170.00 bucks to avoid 200.00 worth of aggrivation! abu revo's or shimano curado reels wont let ya down. If you dont usually fish with a baitcaster stay away from the high speed (7.0) geaded reels until you get comfortable with a regular bait caster.
