Are these considered "bait"? I use the red colored mineral salt from the local co-op as well as trophy rocks to get pictures of deer on my trailcam. They both have greater than 65% salt. Are these considered bait and if so how far away from the site should a man hunt to be considered legal? Thanks in advance for taking time to explain.

Those items are not considered as bait.

The deer cane and black magic are legal. Most of the sugar beet stuff I've seen is not legal. I can't say on the others without more information.

i knew the loose sugar beet powder, primos red spot, acorn rage, etc were considered bait but im refering to the wildgame innovations sugar beet crush lick -n- brick. flavored block, they also come in all the other common flavors but they have no actual food products that im aware of, and say min 93% salt. also would say apple juice or vanilla extract be legal in a spray bottle for spraying from a tree stand to get the scent in the air for a curiosity attractant? it seems like apple juice in a water bowl would be considered baiting, but as a mist in the air maybe not. just curious. thanks for your time!

If it is a mineral block that doesn't contain crushed sugar beets, it probably is legal. The spray bottle attractants would be OK.

Is it legal to put the sugar beet crush out if you plan to hunt over it over 10 days after it is gone? Example, I put some out in september with a trail cam, but I don't hunt the area until rifle season?
Thanks for your time SCN.
