I know most of you hate the name brand bagged stuff, but for my first plot I tried Evolved Mega Plot. Hunted it the first time this morning saw my first 3 deer. Here are a few pictures from this morning and some last week when I was pulling a camera. It's almost knee high. They are starting to eat it hard.

I have planted mega plot and like it but it didnt have near that amount of brassicas in it. could that be shot plot that u have planted? Thats what it resembles.

How high up is that last shot?
It's what works for you not anyone else. I have about 10 micro plots that folks may laugh at but they are up and coming in good. A few are 20x30 and some as small as 15x15 in clearings.

It's almost knee high. But I am only 3'4"! Joking I am 6ft. Shot my first deer with a bow over it this evening.

I certainly don't "hate" bagged seed. Some of the products have some really unique plants in them. I just think the bagged seed is over-priced. But these pre-mixed blends may be the only way to get some plant varieties with unique growth characteristics.

The deer truly dont know the difference.........................if your ph is correct and you use good fertilizer they will come and dine and enjoy and return..................
