Theoretically, they shouldnt start eating that stuff until the first frost anyways. However, we planted Imperial No-Plow (which has alot of the same stuff) in a few plots, and they are absolutely tearing it up. And that stuff is still knee high. Also, Oats shouldnt really be hit until a frost as well, though our oats are 5 inches lower than they are inside of our exclusion cages.

That surprised me due to all of the acorns falling. But that exclusion cage was all I needed to know for the first evening hunt. That and spotting a nice 115-120" 8pt in a field Friday evening. Convinced me to hunt the fields. Saw 7 in a 3 acre field. I wasnt about to hunt the acorns in the evening.

I have always had good results from Whitetail Institute products. Especially the clover and Powerplant.
Looking to buy a Marlin 1894 FG 41 Rem. Mag.

I've got a 5 acre WI clover plot that's in it's second year and the deer are in it 24/7. I seen about 20 deer Saturday sitting over one. The stuff grows great good and thick.

Looks great!

From our experience, it usually takes deer a couple of years to really start utilizing the brassica. Once they "get use to it", they'll continue to hit it year after year, especially after a couple good killing freezes.

Good luck and thanks for posting pics!
