I've got a lot of trees to get in the ground and off my deck.... When do you guys generally put them in the ground?

I just cleaned and wrapped about 2 dozen persimmons seeds and put them in the freezer. I'm hoping to get them in pots in January/Febuary and then hopefully in the ground the next year.
Need to do some tree clearing work first though.

I would take the seed out of the freezer and put them in the refrigerator, warped in a damp paper towel inside a zip lock bag.

Yesterday! Really anytime now should be good. I have a few persimmon trees that will be planted tomorrow. They were grown from seed in a flower bed last fall and moved to a pot this spring.

I usually wait until they lose their foliage. That way you really do not have to worry about water etc. But they should be fine either way.
