A little ...soybeans all around and woods are full of acorns. It will pay off in December. When soybeans are gone I figure they will pound it.

Planted last week of August, I think. Got all that rain from hurricane a few days after. Its been growing bout a month. Fertilized a couple weeks ago before a rain. Only put 8-8-8 on it and not a lot... Deer are eating it some, it's just so much other food around they have every year. Soybeans mainly and my white oaks are pouring. Those pics are just one part that's the thickest. Planted biologic green patch plus all around that and they've been hitting it hard. That pure attraction is in some great dirt and it has growed super quick and thick. Really surprised me.. hoping I pull all the does in... then the bucks will come. Huge track of managed farmland and I hunt the 200 acre heart of it. All been managed for a while.

That area was actually a 70 acre field that we quit bushogging bout 12 years ago. We cleaned bout 15 acres up in the middle. Did all that over the summer. Been hunting it for 20 years and never planted all these greens. Hoping when the soybeans are gone they pile in there. Wish I had took pics of before and after. But I was too busy ..

Looks great and sounds like a perfect setup for you. I bet you keep the pressure low and have all the does in there opening week of muzzle you'll bust a stud'! I planted some of the same stuff so I was curious how long yours was in for to compare. Looks like y'all done it right...

Place is in north AL. Just below the stateline.. The whole month of December is when it happens here. I love the look of the brassicas. Just hope the deer love em. Not expecting a lot til it gets colder and other food is gone ...
