they're great. they take all the recoil out of the shot so you can shoot all day. Just don't strap the gun in it, the recoil has to go somewhere...

If you have heavy recoil guns be careful, I've seen smokeless muzzleloaders with near max loads and heavy bullets destroy High end Leupold and Zeiss scopes within 3 shots using the sled. Never strap it down.

I have used them. They have been known to destroy scopes. I would much rather use one of caldwells front shooting rests with a small shooting bag in the back. If your rifle kicks that much, get a good recoil pad. If it still kicks too much, get a muzzle break. I can shoot my 300 win mag all day long and never flinch or shed a tear.

Been using them for 10 years and never had a problem. Don't strap the gun down!

Use it every fall to verify zero, then switch to the bipod and shoot.

I only use my lead sled to sight scopes in then switch to sand bags especially in high recoil guns .

I didnt like it. I like the caldwell adjustable rest and sand bags much better
